Divorce Services
In the best of circumstances, divorce is a time of enormous reorganization and change that merits additional emotional and mental support. Children, adults to little ones, experience many adjustments and, often, are burdened by the conflict between parents or simply the changes they have to accept. Whether beginning the divorce process, stuck somewhere in the middle or post-divorce, I work with parents who want things to go better for themselves, their ex and their children.
Divorce and Separation
In 2012, I attended my first mediation training on divorce and children. What happened to my children and my co-parenting relationship in the court setting made me determined to find a better path for kids and families going through separation and divorce. More Information
Divorce Coach
As a divorce coach, I accompany you from the steps before the divorce is initiated to the filing of the final MSA with the court and anywhere in between. My role is to help you navigate emotions, effective communication, develop articulate goals and interests and moderate reactions. With my credential as a licensed mental health provider, I can also help you evaluate the usefulness of a child specialist in your case. More Information
Parenting Plan Mediator
I am often an adjunct professional that couples use and/or attorneys recommend to focus on the parenting plan.
I work in conjunction with your mediator, co-mediators or litigating attorney. Typically, I interface with the attorney or attorneys, provide them and you brief updates with agreements from our sessions and keep the parenting plan organised in order to provide the final version to the attorney/s for use in the Marital Settlement Agreement. Each team member is trained specifically in conflict reduction and the team works collaboratively to resolve all issues with the coaches taking the lead on the parenting plan, communication and emotional regulation and agreement readiness during meetings.
